HDPE Tanks
Get in Touch
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is one of the most chemically resistant materials available for tank construction, and this characteristic makes HDPE tanks a practical and widely used storage solution across water treatment and industrial applications. Their ability to handle a broad range of chemicals without degradation, combined with seamless, leak-free construction, makes them particularly well suited to chemical storage duties where containment integrity is critical.
The seamless, rotationally moulded construction of HDPE tanks eliminates joints and seams that can be points of weakness in other tank types. This is especially important when storing acids, alkalis, sodium hypochlorite, and other aggressive treatment chemicals where even minor leakage would create safety, environmental, and compliance concerns.
HDPE is also UV-stabilised for outdoor use, maintaining its structural and chemical resistance properties when exposed to the intense sunlight conditions common across the UAE and KSA. Unlike some other plastics, UV-stabilised HDPE does not become brittle or discolour significantly over time when installed outdoors, supporting a long operational service life.
Available in a wide range of sizes, HDPE tanks can be specified for small chemical day tanks through to large process water storage vessels. Standard fittings cover inlet and outlet connections, overflow, venting, and level indication, and custom fittings can be accommodated for specific installation requirements.
Maintenance requirements are minimal. The material does not rust, corrode, or require protective coatings, and the smooth internal surface resists fouling and scale build-up. This simplicity contributes to low total cost of ownership over the operational life of the tank, making HDPE a cost-effective storage choice for facilities of all sizes.
